This is where it all started.  Our first home in Folsom, and now our new home in Fuquay.

Our New Master Bathroom!!!

This was a complete demo and remodel of the master bathroom.  By doing it myself we saved thousands; however, I started in late November and it will be completely done this April...so there is some give and take.  This job is currently 95% complete.  I just need to caulk around the tub, install plumbing for one vanity and have the glass company install the glass for the shower.

Bathroom Remodel

This renovation took a couple weeks and involved cutting out the old fiberglass tub/shower combo and removing original vinyl flooring, old wallpaper and vanity sinks and counters.  I installed a steel tub and fixtures, new tile (imported from Italy), new sink tops and lighting, and I added a small glass block window in the shower for a decorative touch (and a little light coming from the window behind it).  I finished off the room with a Venetian plaster that matched the tile and whala!  All In about two weeks.

 

Fire Place Renovation

 

New Window Installation

I started by cutting three holes for three small windows.  This kept me from having to rip out sheetrock to install a header for one big window.  I framed each one separately with 2x4's, installed the windows and trimmed it out.  This is a relatively easy job for someone with minor experience.

 

Other Projects

I tiled the sunroom that once had dark blue outdoor carpet right over decking boards.  I also have spent a lot of time scraping off wallpaper.  I still have a long way to go.
